A family run business who offer excellent food, wines and exceptional service - real value for money. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. I have attended many Italian restaurants, mainly in London and Birmingahm and can honestly say Bella is always my venue of choice - 10 out of 10 everytime. The only downside is that you need to book in advance to avoid disappointment! Simply a must!
top quality food with the best service
Bella,is simply one of the Midlands finest Italian Restaurants. The small but stylish restaurant has an excellent menu of fresh Italian fine cuisine, cooked and served by a friendly Italian Family.Combine this with their extensive Italian wine list, and real Italian music, then you have the real deal ....A genuine Italian restaurant owned and operated by a genuine Italian family !Highly Recommended, but try to book in advance, as they usually have a full house!
Arrived without welcome, coats not taken, no offer of a drink. Left waiting without a menu. Inadequate seating in waiting area.Starter with lobster and scallops. No trace of lobster and the scallops were overcooked and beyond chewable.Fillet of Beef Rossini, cooked in gooseFAT (not butter) and COOKED shavings of fois gras which resulted in a dead, grey, jellied mess on TOP of overcooked beef. No steak knife offered.Prosecco - not chilled. Had to explain twice that an ice bucket needs to contain iced water in order to actually chill the wine. Warm Prosecco. Yuk.Staff who argue with customers and will try to make you pay for food sent back uneaten. Not a pleasant experience. The upside was being asked not to return (not at all defensive then)
