Beauty First Laser Skin Clinic

After many many months of searching the net and reading up about stretch mark treatments. I finally plucked up the courage to get something done about them. I found out about `beauty first laser skin clinic` through advertisements and driving past it on my way home from work. I arranged a consultation which cost £25.00. I arrived on time and was made to wait over half hour as the consultant was busy seeing to a customer upstairs as they also run a boutique . When I finally got to see the consultant, the consultation lasted less than 10 minutes. She whizzed through what she was going to do and told me the cost. I don`t know if it was because she wanted to close up and I was the last appointment, but I felt a bit dissapointed and bamboozled, she took no photographs of the stretch marks to study. But none the less they were really the only Laser Clinic open at the time. I booked an appointment for my first microdermabrasion treatment. I was informed by the consultant that I should see results after at least 6 treatments which cost me £85 a time. The cost factor was not an issue as I was guaranteed results. After 6 treatments there was still no change. Then the consultant said it will be a slow process, but it was up to me if I wished to pursue it. She never once said that it may be wise to stop treatment now as it will be costly and I may not even see a change. I went back for a further 6 treatments but still no change. In the end, I cancelled my 13th appointment and stopped going. Since then I have made further enquiries at several other laser clinics in the area and Birmingham and I have had the same answer from each. That is due to the age and colour of my stretch marks and my skin being asian, they do not recommend microdermabrasion and laser treatment as it may cause a darkening in the pigmentation of my skin. The consultations I had at these clinics were also free of charge and each consultant that saw me took photographs of my stretch marks. The most latest clinic I visited was `skin clinic` in Compton Road Wolverhampton. They were spectacular in being informative and it was a `FREE` consultation. The question I ask Beauty First is why did they offer me the treatment in the 1st instance when they were aware the results will not be guaranteed. 12 treatments at £85 a time is not cheap for no results at all. I am sorry but I will not be recommending this clinic to anyone. I was dissapointed and mislead. An expensive mistake wouldn`t you say.
