  We have been using Cornerstone Vets for 6 years and have all 5 of our animals registered there. The staff are wonderful and really care about the animals, after both our dogs were neutered and spayed we received excellent after care - the vets called a couple of days after the procedure to ensure that the animals were okay and to book a check up appointment for them. They also deal wonderfully with our more troublesome pets that don't like their visits to the vets. I live over in Dudley and am more than happy to make the journey to Wolverhampton to go to the vets, If you are looking for a vets that is the cheapest then shame on you as I would rather visit a vet where I know the animals are well cared for! i couldn't recommend Cornerstones highly enough.

• Having my dog neutered at Cornerstone

  I took my dog to be neutered at Cornerstone last week. The staff at the reception desk were pleasant but the wait for Maisie to be admitted was tedious, and she shrieked when the nurse gave her the injection to make her calm before the op. They rang me later on to say that everything had gone fine - and how would I be paying! When I collected her, she was still very sleepy and the wound was oozing a bit of blood - the nurse told me not to worry about it, and that it was quite normal. I was disappointed that they didn't give me pain-killers for Maisie, because she seemed pretty painful for the next few days. However, Maisie's over her op now, and none the worse. It was me that was feeling worse for wear when a friend told me of a low cost neutering clinic just down the road from Cornerstone, where I could have had Maisie speyed for about half of what they'd charged me - and she would have had pain-killers! PS. Maisie is not my dog's real name.
